I toured the "Branch Office" in Hawaii in 1989. Yes, even though Hawaii is a State in the USA, the GB in their infinite wisdom saw fit to establish a branch office on this idyllic Pacific destination.
I was surprised to see many original pieces depicting her black-eyed kids (BEK) this artist was famous for hanging on the walls everywhere. I had never see artwork in any KH. The tour guide seemed impressed that a well-known artist would also be a JW. It must be the truth if a well-known artist who paints creepy alien-hybrid looking kids has joined, right?
Anyway, the paintings seemed odd and out of place for a "Christian" Center. Now, it all seems rather appropriate. -

Exactly Anna. Scripture says Satan will be chained in the abyss for 1000 years. The WT teaches that the Millennium Reign began in 1914, 108 years ago.
The WT doesn't teach that Satan is bound yet. They teach the opposite.... he's lurking in every garage sale and antique shop in the world!
So what's the deal? If the big A came tomorrow, Satan would only be chained 892 years. But scripture says 1000 years. Hmmm whom to believe?On a side note: those really are 'bout the cleanest windows I've ever seen. Guess they are figuring on having plenty of help in that department.

it clearly had no basis in law or the constitution, and was a flimsy, ridiculous ruling.

the Thousand Year Reign...It will include the greatest educational program ever undertaken... it will also be a time when the conduct of both the righteous and the unrighteous will be evaluated.
They are out of their minds. It takes less than a minute to read the 10 commandments. The only reason they imagine a big educational program is so they can teach their thousands of additional pharisaical rules to an endless supply of numbskulls.
The Millennial Reign will be characterized by the complete absence of self-righteous know-it-alls..... especially the stain of WT pharisees. These are the exact same kinds of people who murdered Jesus. I don't think he will be letting any of those kinds of folks in.
Additionally, the WT fantasy of the "unrighteous" being resurrected during this time is ridiculous. Their resurrection is only one of damnation. No panda bears for the unrighteous."Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 29And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation." - John 5
The righteous and the unrighteous are resurrected at different times. The unrighteous dead are judged after the 1000 yr. reign. (The righteous dead are judged at the cross, along with with Jesus when "he became sin who knew no sin so we might be made the righteousness of God") The righteous dead only suffer a vicarious damnation. Jesus was cursed and damned in our place. He came to be our Scapegoat. That's why it is called The Substitutionary Atonement.
The Final Judgment
Rev. 20: 11 - And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
The righteous dead are judged according the work of Christ on the cross. The unrighteous dead are judged according to their own works.
No one survives the judgment at the GWT. That is why it is called a "judgment of damnation".

Just for a little perspective here: OVER 90% OF DEMOCRATIC MEMBERS OF CONGRESS HAS VOTED FOR ABORTION UP UNTIL THE MOMENT OF BIRTH.
Polls show that the public is just the opposite. Fewer than 10% of Americans would go along with this. So, what gives? I believe the Wicked Witch of the West is responsible. She is the face of the Democratic Party. She rules her party with an iron fist. She has tried to be a benevolent dictator. A lot of people have fallen for it. But, she is just another tyrant.
The democratic party has run this country into the ground in just about every possible way. USA abortion laws are so extreme they are only matched by 6 countries in the world. North Korea and China are on that short list.
I realize that people for abortion reform are going to disagree about many details. But people of common sense realize that we must all pull together whenever possible and not forsake morality altogether.
I have a lot of relatives in Europe. They are not Christian. They are quasi atheist, agnostics with a Catholic believer here and there. But, they have common sense. We all get along great. They believe in families, marriage, right and wrong. Would they measure up to a biblical standard. No. (In reality no one can do it perfect) But, they have not thrown away their Christian culture of temperance, patience and peace-seeking either. Neither have embraced sycophantic dictators either.
I am not going to demonize someone who says abortion should be illegal after 22 weeks. I might expose faulty logic in that position. But so what, if that is where you are, then vote that way. Don't let people manipulate you into hating your opponents so much that you get pushed into a far more extreme position where your "approved" representatives must perform a partial birth abortion on the Senate Floor as a litmus test.
I think the average age for making abortions illegal in Europe is 14 weeks. It's time to restore some common sense to the United States. We are freedom lovers. We are also easily manipulated by experts who know what they are doing.
Just think about it: We were all believers at one time and were easily manipulated into ritually rejecting Jesus Christ and his contract for the forgiveness of sins every year! (See Mt. 26: 27-28)
Think about that. We just all went along with the leaders. One day, we woke up and realized we didn't have to. I think this issue is another one of those light bulb moments. It's time for Nancy to put her broom back in her San Francisco closet and watch the sun set. -

Instead of using chemical castration drugs on our teenagers, how about a 3 strikes you are out law? Get three women pregnant you are not married to and you get automatically chemically castrated.
